The PENARTH METHODIST CIRCUIT is one of the circuits within the Wales Synod of the Methodist Church.

Penarth is situated just to the south and west of Cardiff,

the Capital City of Wales.

Our CHURCHES:

The Circuit has four churches: Albert Road and Trinity in Penarth itself and Dinas Powys and Eastbrook in their respective villages…although Eastbrook is not really a village, rather an area of Dinas Powys.

We are a diverse circuit from a small Tin Tabernacle to a large Cathedral like church...and two churches in between.

Our MEMBERSHIP:

The Circuit has a membership of 396 plus other folks, who whilst not members are certainly committed to the life and witness of the various churches.

Our WORSHIP:

Each church has its own morning act of worship but evening worship rotates around the churches and people are encouraged to travel to wherever evening worship is held.  Albert Road also hold midweek morning worship at 11.30am on a Thursday.

Our worship is led not only by the Staff members (see STAFF page) but also by our Local Preachers or Worship Leaders, thus ensuring variety and freshness each week.  To see who is preaching where, please view our CIRCUIT PLAN page.

Our OUTREACH:

We have a CIRCUIT PRAYER DIARY which is used in all our churches (see DEVOTIONAL page) and as a Circuit we do many things together, not least our Circuit Project (see CIRCUIT PROJECT page).  We also all contribute to one Circuit Magazine called “IN TOUCH” (see CIRCUIT InTouch page).

Baptisms, Marriages and Funerals are conducted in churches and in the first instance, please contact the minister concerned.
